Stephanopoulos even gives her a chance to soften her position, but SanFranNan will not spit out the hook:
PELOSI:....One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?
PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.
I guess what she's saying is we can't afford low income 'babies of color'. Had a Republican even intimated something like this the backlash would have been immediate and fierce. But there will be little, if any, consequence for Madame Speaker.
